Welcome to my travel photography website that showcases the beauty and diversity of Australia's two most iconic cities and regional area. This collection documents my unique south-to-north road trip from Melbourne to Sydney. Through my lens, I aim to capture the essence of these places and the unique experiences they offer. My minimalist approach allows the pictures to speak for themselves.

Chapter 1
Back to Basic
Being back in Melbourne with my Dad stirred a flurry of emotions. Five years had passed since we last set foot in the city that held so many memories. With each passing block, our gaze lingered on the graffiti that adorned alleyways and buildings. What was once a cacophony of colors and shapes now seemed to tell a different story, one shaped by the passage of time and the echoes of the pandemic.

It wasn't long before we found ourselves immersed in the vibrant energy of the city, reconnecting with old friends and rediscovering forgotten haunts. We embarked on a journey of exploration, weaving through crowded streets and hidden corners.

As night fell and the city lights flickered to life, I couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging wash over me. Here, amidst the hustle and bustle of urban life, I found solace in the familiarity of the streets I once called home.
Chapter 2
Hidden gems & surprises
Our journey through regional Victoria took an unexpected turn when our car decided to play up on the roads near Raymond Island. The hiccup, though brief, gave us a chance to appreciate Bairnsdale and its surroundings. During the journey, the memorable experience stemmed from the lack of fellow tourist. It felt like we had the entire area to ourselves, free to explore at our own pace without the usual crowds.

Southern New South Wales, with its underrated beauty, proved to be a haven for those seeking tranquility amidst nature's splendor. As we resumed our journey, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected detour and the opportunity to discover such hidden gems. Sleeping in the car, exploring new places, living simply and cooking outdoors—it felt liberating, especially after the pandemic. We rediscovered the joy of simplicity and the thrill of feeling truly free again.

Chapter 3
Cloudy weather and last moments
Guiding Dad through the bustling streets of the city brought a strange mix of emotions. On one hand, I was thrilled to share this vibrant urban landscape with him. On the other hand, my dad's impending return back to France, cast a melancholic shadow over our time together. Each moment spent exploring the city felt precious. Transitioning from the serene regional areas to the overwhelming cityscape felt like a whirlwind.
